·        Sawn hardwood wear layer. The grain pattern for sawn hardwood wear layers is the same as solid wood floors. Sawn wear layers are also less susceptible to cracking or splitting as compared to rotary or sliced wear layers.

• Hardwood (Rubberwood) slat core (Janka hardness of 995) plus high density Merkus Pine bottom layer (Janka hardness of 1,123) provides increased dimensional stability from eco-friendly sources. Both of these core species are plantation grown: Rubberwood for the latex it produces, Merkus Pine for the high quality oleo resins. Upon completing their useful commercial life spans, these trees are removed and replanted with young seedlings. The removed trees are then recycled for flooring purposes.

• Six-coat European UV-cured finish with an aluminum oxide sealer-coat that provides a long-lasting, repairable wear-layer.  30 year Residential or 5 year Commercial limited finish warranty.

• Extra wide (5 ¾”) and extra long average length (60”) not found in most engineered wood lines.  Provides an upscale, elegant appearance.

• Swedish made, water resistant, low formaldehyde laminating adhesive.  Exceeds E-1 emission standards.

• This flooring can be floated, stapled or glued.  Can be installed below, on and above grade over virtually any sub-floor.  Some species can be installed over radiant heating systems.
